When Bridie (founder of Bella Descanso) came to me with a unique request to turn watercolour illustrations into print ready repeating patterns. The project involved:
- vectorising hand painted illustrations by Jennifer Darr
- reducing colour palette whilst keeping hand-painted look
- Pantone colour consulting + matching
- Motif scaling + positioning
- Creating seamless repeat with print ready files
For the Queen of Hearts print I also exclusively designed the grey lace pattern underlay to be paired with the watercolour illustrations by Jennifer Darr.
